Baha'i Center Library re-organization

The clean-up and organization of the Baha’i Center Library is finished!

 

Many old and worn copies have been given away or removed.

Reference materials, lending library materials, and pamphlets are now organized by topic and available for your use on the north wall of the Library!

 

The instructions for using the Lending Library and the Reference Library are explained on one simple page of instructions. And those instructions are available here on our website and in the Library in a red plastic folder.  The library usage instructions are here:

The Assembly has been following the latest developments with the unfolding Covid-19 pandemic, including the latest information and executive order from Governor Holcomb.

Region-wide Devotional Meeting - online April 4 at 2pm

Midwest Region-Wide Devotions - hosted by Regional Council

Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 2 pm, via web link or phone

The Regional Council lovingly invites you to a Region-wide devotional meeting on Saturday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m.  

The program will include prayers, selections from the Holy Writings and live devotional music by accomplished musicians from around the region. It will be transmitted live online, and will include an address by the Secretary of the National Spiritual Assembly, Mr. Kenneth Bowers.

Ayyám-i-Há 2020

 

As we prepare for the annual Fast and anticipate Naw-Rúz and the Spring season, let's celebrate Ayyám-i-Há with food, games, fellowship and activities!  There will be a supervised candle making for children and adults courtesy of Freetown Village.

Open and free to all!  

Saturday February 29th from 2-4pm at the Indianapolis Bahá’í center.

"Free Trip to Egypt" to be screened Nov. 15. 2019

Don't miss this special one-day screening of "Free Trip to Egypt", a film by Candian Egyptian entrepreneur Tarek Mounib and American Muslim YouTube celebrity Adam Saleh.  "Free Trip to Egypt" is a journey into the unknown, a film about the transformational power of human connection, and a remarkable experiment in kindness and empathy.

Admision: $7 (to cover the cost of screening this film)

Light snacks will be provided.

Two events celebrating the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Bab

Come join us for two different events celebrating the Bicentenary of the Birth of the Bab.  The Bab was born 200 years ago in Shiraz in 1819.

The first event will occur Monday evening, Oct. 28, from 7 to 9:15 pm.  This program will include the new film about the Bab: "Dawn of the Light", music by the acclaimed Charlie Ballantine jazz trio, and Persian tea and desserts.

The 2nd event will occur the next day, Tuesday Oct. 29, 10 am to 1:30 pm.  This celebration will include stories from the life of the Bab, a dramatic presentation, lunch, and a lot of sharing.
