The Eastside JY just completed recording their rap song “Fools Abuse”. Thanks to a friend, Greg, for recording and mixing the music! Next up, making a music video.
The JY have been invited to participate in a First Friday showing of their music video at the community center in their neighborhood. Here, they will also sell the bracelets they made to raise money for the local women’s shelter. The video will also be posted onto YouTube to raise even more awareness about domestic violence.
In addition to raising awareness about an important cause, the JY also learned about the structure of songs and how to record in layers and then mix each track into a complete song.
