Building Capacity for Tutoring Book 1
"To become an effective tutor requires some initial training followed by participation in periodic meetings of consultation, organized by the Institute, in which experiences are analyzed and skills and abilities further enhanced."
In our continued efforts to share the message of Bahá’u’lláh and its implications for the life of humanity we find "remarkable receptivity" and "eager expectation" from among our friends, family members, neighbors, and co-workers, many of whom go on to participate in study circles. Additionally, we are beginning to see in our communities how a modest effort to help individuals study the institute's sequence of courses and accompany them to start core activities, can develop into a unified endeavor of community building that draws the participation of more and more individuals.
It seems timely, then, to review the "qualities, attitudes, skills and abilities we have to develop, [the] essential concepts that we must understand, and areas of knowledge we have to explore" in order to strive to guide a Book 1 study circle more effectively.
Please RSVP to Mat Cotton if planning to attend.
