Friends, please join us on Friday, 29 May at 7:00PM at The Athenaeum Foundation for the screening of this incredible and eye-opening film about the denial of education to the Baha’i youth of Iran called “To Light a Candle” by Iranian film-maker Maziar Bahari.

Following the screening—and in collaboration with the Indianapolis chapter of Amnesty International—there will be an open panel discussion with the audience with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding about the history and present situation of the denial of education to the Baha’is, the history of persecution there, and to the denial of education in the middle east amongst many populations.

This screening is a part of the international campaign called “Education Is Not a Crime”, sponsored by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the United States.  www.educationisnotacrime.me
